We're all getting into the Christmas spirit at Honeybees Preschool!
The children are very excited about our Christmas Party tomorrow, and Santa has told us he might even pop in for a visit if they have been extra good for their mummies and daddies!! :-)
The results from our parent survey are rolling in, and we're so happy to feel the love for Honeybees!! :-)
"We just love the staff. You care so much for the children and it shows. Your food is amazing! You are FANTASTIC!!"
"Honeybees has an absolutely different environment from what I've seen so far in Auckland's childcares. It feels like home in here!"
"It seemed obvious to us from the day we visited Honeybees that the teachers are talented and committed to making early childhood education their career. This was a big difference to other daycare centres that we visited."
"I love the natural products used and I love knowing my daughter will be nourished with real food."
"I love the philosophy and cleanliness of the centre. All the staff are happy, positive people and I am grateful that my son is in their care while I am at work."
"Friendly, warm teachers who are always very very patient and always smile. Chemical and toxin free toys, skincare products and toiletries. Healthy and balanced foods."
We had all sorts of goings on here at Honeybees for Halloween last week!! There were wizards, princesses, devils, super-heros and even perfect little pumpkins...... and they were all super adorable! :-)
We were so lucky today at Honeybees to have Cornflake the Clown from Cornflakes Magic World come to visit, and perform a magic show!! The children had so much fun, and wanted him to stay and live at Honeybees forever! :-)
This major study in the UK confirms what we believe here at Honeybees - children who attend high quality preschools go on to achieve significantly better academic results at school and even earn more during their working lives! :-)
Our Wheely Bug Bee winners popped in this week to pickup their prizes - luckily Bronte is just the right size to do lots of buzzing around, but little Zepplin has some growing to do first! :-)
Those with preschoolers at home be warned, this is what we might have to look forward to down the track......hilarious!
Last day of the Baby Show for Honeybees and we were taking our chance to lark around on the Wheely Bug bees before we draw our lucky winners next week!! :-)
We met so many lovely parents and little ones, and we really hope to see you soon for a visit and a play at Honeybees! Don't forget if you saw us at the show and enrol in the next 2 months you'll get your first month free too!
Day 2 of the Baby Show and this dapper little guy loved our Honeybees balloons! Feel like we may have gotten a little too carried away with them today hahaha - If you can't find us tomorrow we'll be the ones with just our heads poking out the top of the giant pile of yellow balloons!! Actually that sounds super fun..... :-)
Tell us why you would love to go to the Baby Show to be in to win a free ticket to this leading event on parents calendars! We also have 2 for 1 vouchers to the new Postman Pat movie (coming out soon) for the runners up.
We've been celebrating lots of birthdays lately at HoneyBees - a huge Happy Birthday to Malek (3), Max & Oscar (3), Olivia (4), and Sebastien (3)!!
Want to work at HoneyBees? We're looking for someone special for a full time relieving position in Aug/Sep.
Interesting reading on how technology is shaping our current generation of children....
So it turns out baby brain is actually a really useful thing! :-)
Have a great weekend everyone! Here is an excellent collection of ideas from Kiwi Families for things to do with your children.
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.....
